Regular Service Activities

• United Caring Shelter
  Whenever we get the chance we go to prepare & serve dinner for the homeless at the United Caring Shelter.
• North Park Nursing Home
  Every other Thursday, we go to a local nursing home to lead the residents in song.
• Habitat for Humanity
  We participate in the annual Catholic Build. 
• Lenten Penny Jar
  A fund-raising project that benefits a worthy cause. In 2009, it became the “El Salva-Jar.” This year, we plan to donate proceeds toward recovery from the earthquake in Haiti.
• Halloween Party for Ozanam Family Shelter
  We host a Halloween party for children at the Ozanam Family Shelter.
• Adopt-A-Family
  The Newman Club adopts a less fortunate family and provides Christmas gifts for the children.
• Spring Break Service Trips
  Each year we do an “alternative spring break” such as serving the poor in Appalachia or helping with the continued recovery from Hurricane Katrina in and around New Orleans.
• Summer Missionary Work
  Opportunities are available for those looking to serve during their time off from school.
